   Having connection/DNS trouble after several smooth weeks on !debian Sid. Any suggestions?

     @dper It looks like some dhclient problem. Can only connect with eth0/dhcpcd, not eth0 or wlan1 via wicd and dhclient as I usually do.

     @dper I am on a simple laptop, using a fairly standard connection.

     @ggoes Are you controlling #dhclient from the command line? Have you checked that all network GUI clients are off? Try #dhcpcd?

     @ggoes That is, of course keep #wicd on for testing, but ensure other clients are off.

     @dper #Wicd controls connection and runs #dhcpcd. Running both directly does no good. Looks like dhclient is running on eth0 but not wlan1.
